Petrochemical Applications
Armultra manufacture a wide range of equipment for the petrochemical industry for both onshore and offshore applications, all built to client specification.
Vessels
- Vessels are constructed in accordance with appropriate national and international codes, including PD 5500, ASME VIII - Divisions 1 and 2, Lloyd’s rules for shipping and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
- Vessels can be manufactured in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel and can be supplied with internal finishes including glass flake or rubber coatings.
- Vessels can be manufactured in a full range of sizes typically up to 5 metre diameter and 10 metre length and 30 mm thickness.

- Surge tanks
- Knock out drums
- Chemical storage

- De-sanding
- Air receiver
Tanks
- Storage tanks and twin wall bund tanks can be manufactured in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Chrome Molly and Titanium and can be supplied with internal coatings if required.
- Storage tanks can be manufactured in a full range of sizes typically up to 10 metre length, 5 metre width, 7 metre height and 30 mm thickness.
Pipework and Package Units
- Pipework can be manufactured in spool sections to customer drawings or incorporated into package units with vessels, tanks and associated valves and equipment.
- Pipework can be manufactured and welded to all standards including BS-EN 288, ASME IX, ASME B31.3 and Norsok.
- Pipework can be manufactured in a full range of materials including Carbon Steels, Stainless Steels, Super Duplex, Duplex, Nickel Alloys, Cunifer 90/10, Titanium and other exotic metals.
- Pipework can be manufactured in a range of sizes from ½” NB to 48” NB and from Sch 10 to Sch 160 / XXS.
- Pipework can be supplied with a full range of terminations including ANSI B16.5 150lb to 2500 lb, RTJ, Hammer unions, Techloc clamp connectors or to customer specifications, for pressures up to 10,000 PSI.
- Skid units can be manufactured in a full range of sizes and materials to AWS D 1.1 and can be load tested to BS EN 12079 or to DNV 2.7.1
General Information

Material certification can be supplied for NACE MRO 0175/ISO 15156.

NDT testing X-ray, Gamma, Ultra sonic testing, MPI/DPI, Hardness and mechanical testing carried out by approved sub contractors.

Third party design review and inspections by Lloyds, Bureau Veritas or DNV.

All products can be supplied blasted and coated to offshore specifications or to customer specific requirements.
